What is a radial piston pump?

The radial piston pump uses the drive shaft to ride the pistons to and out of the cylinders arranged perpendicular to the shaft to pump liquid. Movement of the pistons here and there by pump pump. The radial piston pump differs from the axial piston pump in the way the pistons and cylinders are arranged parallel to the driving shaft. Usually there is a bearing ring, except for the drive shaft, causing reciprocal movement of these pistons. When they move back and forth, the springs keep the pistons in contact with this ring. The ring position determines the distance the piston travels, thus determining the amount of fluid that can be drawn and excluded in one cycle. More fluids can be pumped, the more this ring is placed. On the upstroke the piston, the liquid is drawn in the cylinder. As the ring moves and the piston position changes, the liquid is excluded from the cylinder.

The two basic types of pistons used in radial piston pumps are shaped either as cylinders or as balls. Valves in everyThe rollers control the intake and drain of the pumped liquid. Other design variations include remote maintenance options using computers and on -board electronics to check volume and pressure.

Radial piston pump may be a firm shift or variable shift design. For a fixed pump, the set amount of liquid is drawn in each cycle and cannot be changed. The amount of fluid pumped in the design of the variable shift is adjustable. This can be done in the design of radial piston pumps by changing the position of the ring, turning off one or more pistons or another method.

GIVVE its reliability, low noise and suitability in high -pressure situations many operations use a radial piston pump. Production applications include the use of radial piston pumps in heavy machines such as metal processing tools, test and simulation equipment. Can be used in energy productionIE and transmission, both on the mainland and at sea. Their high performance at relatively low speeds makes them a good choice for the use of cranes and agricultural facilities.
