What is a raised drill?
Increased drill is a machine used to create holes or holes between two existing levels of mine. These openings are often referred to as an increase and are generally used for transport or ventilation purposes. Increased drill bit can be used to create vertical increases or holes along a slope or angle. Compared to traditional blasting techniques, it provides an increase in bored many benefits in terms of safety and productivity of mining.
In a standard boring application, where the hole is bored between two levels in the mine, the raised drill will be placed on the higher of the two levels. Using the hydraulic engine, the machine first drills the pilot hole down from the top to the lower level. Below this pilot opening is a boring unit known as a reamer at a lower level and connected to an increased drill using a series of cables. Using hydraulic pressure, it increases the edge of raising the reamer to form an opening for the hole between two levels, cutting dirt and rock.
Sometimes the highest of the two levels can be too small to do itto suit the raised drill. In this application, a special boxhole machine is used. Boxhole is located at a lower level and is used to drill a pilot hole to the highest level. Reamer is attached to an increased drill with hydraulic pistons and the drill is pushing the teaching up to the highest level from below. While this device provides an effective method boring in smaller mines, it also represents the added risk for miners and equipment operators.
Raise boredom serves as alternative to traditional blasting, which relies on explosives to create growth and holes. While the blasting tends to be unpredictable, the increase boredom allows controlled boredom. The position of the reamer protects workers from falling stones or debris and there is no risk of fire or vapors such as those associated with blasting. Finally, Raise bored allows the shaft in areas where the soil is too unstable for explosives.
In addition to your many safetyRaise Boring also provides many other benefits to miners and mining companies. The walls of the opening created by the raised drill are smooth and consistent and in most cases there is no need to add reinforcement or structural support. Raise Bored also allows creating an increase in much faster than blasting. The use of different types of reamers is virtually unlimited in size and shape, allowing flexibility in the design and operation of the mine.
