What Is a Stacker Conveyor?

The stacker has a simple structure, flexible control, good micro-movability, and high explosion-proof safety performance. It is suitable for operations in narrow aisles and limited spaces, and is an ideal equipment for loading and unloading pallets in elevated warehouses and workshops. Can be widely used in petroleum, chemical, pharmaceutical, light textile, military, paint, pigment, coal and other industries, as well as ports, railways, freight yards, warehouses and other places containing explosive mixtures for loading, unloading, stacking and handling operations. It can greatly improve work efficiency, reduce the labor intensity of workers, and win market competition opportunities for enterprises.

1. Manual stacker (without any power unit, fully lifted by human push and pull, small turning radius, laborious lifting)
2.
Semi-electric stacker
The main function is to perform the lifting function, which is mainly used for loading and unloading, warehouse stacking shelves, high-altitude reclaiming and other operations that only require a small range of movement.
Full electric stacker
The main function is to improve the handling of goods, mainly used for warehouse pickup, stacking shelves, moving items, fully automatic
Semi-electric stacker
Advantages: simple operation, cheap price, wide practical range, convenient maintenance, and low requirements for channel width.
Cons: laborious to move,
Inspection work before operation
The inspection work before work has a vital effect on the safety of the operation of the stacker and is a task that cannot be ignored.
1. Perform the following actions before checking the stacker:
a. Park the stacker in a safe and stable place first.
b. Stop the engine, pull up the hand brake, and set all the control levers in the neutral position.
c. Make the mast perpendicular to the horizontal line, lower the fork and let the fork contact the ground.
2. Perform the following inspections:
Look around the stacker for oil or water leaks.
Check whether the tire pressure is normal, whether the tread is cut, whether the steel rim is deformed, damaged, and whether the screws are locked. Inspect the rear brace and fork for deformation, cracks, and fork positioning. Check that the tightness of the mast chain is consistent. Inspect the lamp system for damage and deformation of the roof.
Open the hood and check the cooling water level. Check the engine oil level. Check the fan belt for cracks and wear. Check the battery electrolyte level. Check the hydraulic oil level. Check the brake fluid level. Put down the hood, get in the car, and sit on the seat. Adjust the seat to the proper position. The steering wheel tilt angle is adjusted to the optimal position. Check if the speaker function is normal. Test whether the brake pedal is normal. Test whether the accelerator pedal is normal. Test whether the clutch pedal is normal. (Manual gear shifting model) Test whether the jog pedal is normal. (Automatic gearshift model) Check if the handbrake lever is operating normally.
Turn the key switch to ON and check if the fuel quantity is sufficient. Check whether the warning lights and meters on the dashboard are working properly. Check whether the direction light control lever functions normally. Check whether the brake light works normally. Start the engine, let the engine warm up for 5 minutes, and check for abnormal noise or abnormal vibration. Check whether the mast is lifted and tilted back and forth smoothly, and inspect the hydraulic cylinder and oil pipe for oil leakage. Slowly move the stacker to a safe area. Check if the clutch action (inching switch action) is normal. Check if the braking force is sufficient. Check if the steering wheel is turning normally.
It can be seen from the above that the inspection will require dozens of items, which is a tedious task. However, safety is the most important. Once an accident occurs in the stacker truck, its impact and injury will be great. To maximize safety and minimize hazards, operators should pay more attention to these issues.
Regular inspection and maintenance
In addition to the inspection before each use, in order to ensure the life and performance of the parts, regular inspection and maintenance work is also required.
1. When there is a problem with the operation of the stacker:
a. When you encounter a problem, please discuss with your supervisor or technician, and do not repair it by yourself to ensure the safety of the man-machine.
b. For more professional maintenance or maintenance items, please leave it to a technician or a trained professional for professional forklift repair.
2. Maintenance
Daily maintenance: It should be done once a day. The main content is to keep the surface of the vehicle body clean, clean the surface of the battery, check whether the power cord is firm, and whether the chain is tight.
First-level maintenance: Once a week, the maintenance content should be checked in addition to the daily maintenance content to check whether the parts are working properly, whether the fasteners are loose, whether the chain is tight, whether the chain joint connecting pins are twisted, Whether the vertical movement of the outer mast is normal, whether the hydraulic joint is leaking oil, whether the mechanical part is abnormally worn, whether the electrical part has abnormal temperature rise and sparks, etc. If abnormalities are found, adjust and remove them in time.
Second-level maintenance: It should be carried out on schedule, and a comprehensive inspection should be performed as required.
The above are just some general introductions. The specific work still needs to be combined with the specific situation. At the same time, once the problem occurs, it must be resolved in a timely manner without delay. At the same time, look for a professional maintenance unit to repair it. If you are not very professional, you cannot repair it blindly.
skills requirement:
1) High fatigue strength of the chain plate;
2) High wear resistance of the pin;
3) High tensile strength of the whole chain;
4) High reliability of the entire chain. [1]
