Metal surface treatment inspection specifications

Right!
Metal surface treatment inspection specifications apply
This specification applies to
2.1 Class A surface: the part that can always be seen by customers during use (such as: the front and top surfaces of the face shell, the top surface of the rear case, the handle, the lens, the keys and the front of the keyboard, the entire surface of the probe, etc.)
2.2 Class B surface: The part that is often seen by customers during use (such as the left and right sides of the face shell, the left and right sides of the bottom shell or the back shell, and the back, etc.). These surfaces allow minor defects but do not cause discerning customers not to buy the product.
2.3 Class C surface: The part of the surface that is rarely noticed by customers during use (such as the bottom surface of the face shell, the bottom surface of the bottom shell or the rear shell, and the surface of the internal parts). The appearance defects of this surface should be reasonable and should not cause customers to feel that the product is of poor quality.
2.4 Metal surface: Included
3.1 SQA / TQC engineer
Supervise the supplier's metal surface treatment process control, appearance inspection and performance inspection according to this specification.
3.2 IQC and Machining Center Quality Inspector
Inspection of finished products according to this specification.
4.1 Consistency and appearance: full inspection items, or IQC engineers to adjust the inspection plan for specific materials according to the "Inspection Plan Adjustment Work Specifications" based on the actual quality of incoming materials;
4.2 Performance: Sampling items. The IQC or machining center quality inspector checks the supplier inspection report for each batch of parts, and inspects each surface treatment at least once every quarter. When the appearance inspection finds that there may be defects that may affect performance, the batch of parts or samples shall be inspected in time for performance inspection.
5.1 Test strip production requirements
5.1.1 If the test area is sufficient, the actual parts can be used as samples.
5.1.2 When the size, shape or material of the surface-treated workpiece is not suitable for the test, or when the number of surface-treated parts is too small or expensive to perform the destructive test, the performance test can be performed by making standard test pieces .
5.1.3 Surface roughness: Ra 1.6µm;
5.1.4 Surface treatment: The same surface treatment process as the same batch of parts under test.
5.1.5 The test specimen shall be tested within three days after 24 hours of surface treatment.
5.2 Visual inspection
5.2 Visual inspection
Visual acuity: Corrected visual acuity above 1.0.
Visual distance: The inspection object is 40cm 60cm from the eyes.
Visual angle: 45 degrees to 90 degrees (the product should rotate during inspection).
Visual time: Class A surface is about 15 seconds / surface, and surface B and C are about 10 seconds / surface.
Light: Illumination greater than 500 LX or normal Mindray workshop lighting.
5.2.2 Sandblasting

5.2.2.2 The drawing direction is in accordance with the requirements of the drawing. If the drawing is not specified, it is consistent with the direction of the long side of the part;
5.2.2.3 The texture of the entire surface is even after drawing;
5.2.2.4 After sandblasting, the surface of the part shall not have obvious deformation, and the shape and position tolerance shall meet the requirements of the drawing.
5.2.3 Plastic paint layer
5.2.3.1 The color of the plastic spray paint meets the requirements of the drawings, and is mainly based on visual inspection, and there should be no obvious color difference; comparing with standard swatches or sample samples, it is acceptable to be consistent or very close; use color difference meter when there is objection to visual The testing and judging standards are in accordance with MRSZS05N01-311 "Product Color and Swatch Management Standards."
5.2.3.2 The color of the electrophoretic paint layer is in accordance with the requirements of the drawing. If the drawing is not specified, it is black.
5.2.4 Galvanized
5.2.4.1 The crystallization of the coating is uniform and detailed; the color meets the requirements of the drawing, and it is iridescent when the drawing is not specified;
5.2.4.2 Allowable surface defects: Due to the different surface conditions of the parts, there is uneven color or gloss on the same part. The blind holes and through holes may be free of plating.
5.2.5 Nickel plating
5.2.5.1 The crystals of the coating are uniform and fine; the ordinary nickel plating is slightly yellowish silver-white, and the bright nickel plating is bright silver-white;
5.2.5.2 Allowable surface defects: Due to the different surface conditions of the parts, there is uneven color or gloss on the same part. There is no plating in the depth of the blind holes and through holes, but anti-rust treatment is required.
5.2.6 Electroless nickel plating
5.2.6.1 The plating layer has even and fine crystals; it is a light yellow silver white or steel gray;
5.2.6.2 Allowable surface defects: uneven color or gloss on the same part due to different surface conditions of the part.
5.2.7 Electroplated hard chrome
5.2.7.1 The plating layer has even and fine crystals; it has a silvery white to light gray with a light blue color;
5.2.7.2 Allowable surface defects: Due to the different surface conditions of the parts, there is uneven color or gloss on the same part, and the depth of blind holes and through holes may be free of plating.
5.2.8 Electroplated decorative chromium
5.2.8.1 The crystal of the coating is uniform and fine; it is silver-white with mirror-like brightness;
5.2.8.2 Allowed surface defects: blind holes and through holes can be free of plating.
5.2.9 Electroplated gold
5.2.9.1 The crystallization of the coating is uniform and fine; the hard gold (alloy) coating is slightly reddish or light brown; the pure gold coating should be shiny golden yellow;
5.2.9.2 Allowable surface defects: uneven color or gloss on the same part due to different surface conditions of the part; blind holes and through holes may be free of plating.
5.2.10 Silver plating
5.2.10.1 The coating has even and fine crystals; it is silver-white;
5.2.10.2 Allowable surface defects: uneven color or gloss on the same part due to different surface conditions of the part, and the depth of blind holes and through holes may be free of plating.
