Test site safety management

Because the cable handover and preventive test work are mostly at the production site, the cable test work is often in the environment of overhaul, busy operation, etc., which causes certain difficulties to the test work. If there is live equipment nearby, it will also adversely affect the safety of the test work. Therefore, strengthening the safety management of the test site and improving the safety organization measures and technical measures of the test work can ensure the smooth progress of the test work.

(1) Safety organization measures for test work

First, do the test connection. The test work is an important part of the entire cable laying, installation, and maintenance work. In order to avoid the mutual influence of cross-operation at the production site and the safety of personal equipment, before the start of the test, you must contact the person in charge of the work or the person in charge of the relevant department, workshop, and team.

During the test work, organizational measures should be taken to the equipment management department: work ticket system; work permit system: work monitoring system; work interruption, transfer and termination system. In the test work, the safety responsibilities and responsibilities of all test personnel must be clear. There should be at least two people in the test work (the workers who are unfamiliar with the work should not be responsible for the main work). Before the test, the person in charge of the site should arrange the test tasks in detail for all test personnel, clarify their respective tasks, and safety technical measures for the field test work. matter.

(2) Safety technical measures for test work

First, all power sources that are electrically connected to the test cable should be powered off.

Conduct a three-phase power check on the power cable that has been powered off with a qualified electrical tester to verify that the cable is no voltage.

After verifying that there is no voltage in the three phases of the cable, suspend short-circuit ground wires at both ends of the working cable.

Hang the corresponding signs on the work place and surrounding equipment, install necessary fences, remind or warn all staff, and limit the scope of staff's activities.

Before the test, the person in charge of the test should check again whether the safety measures are arranged in accordance with the actual requirements of the site and whether the test wiring is correct. Whether the selection of test equipment meets the requirements of field tests. Then all unrelated personnel of the test are notified to evacuate the test area, and special personnel are assigned to guard the various channels in the test area.

The test staff can only perform the power-on test after obtaining the explicit permission of the person in charge of the work. When the test line is changed or the test is completed, the tester must first cut off the test power and ground the test equipment and test cable before performing other work.

Safety precautions for operating tests

The person who understands the performance, principle, structure, and usage method of the test equipment, test instrument should be selected as the tester, and the test staff familiar with the relevant test technical standards and technical regulations should be selected as the main staff.

The test site should be reasonably and scientifically arranged to ensure that the range of activities of the test personnel and the minimum safe distance from the live parts meet the requirements of the following table.
