What is a welding position?
The welding positioner is a device that rotates round or tubular working pieces, such as flanges and pipes over 360 degrees to allow welders to stand in one position and constantly work at the surface level. This prevents fatigue of workers and increases productivity, because the welder does not have to constantly move around the pipe to complete the weld. This method of presenting work pieces also tends to ensure permanently high -quality welds, because there are no directorial or vertical runs.
pipe connection or pipe connection, such as flange and valves, is a problematic task in terms of implementation due to a working plane of 360 degrees. Without the use of tools such as the welding positioner, the craftsman may have to move around and under the pipe to complete the joint, which does not contribute to quality welding. In particular, it causes fatigue, is time consuming and requires vertical and upper welding runs with frequent interruptions for relocation.
High quality welded seams of the arch requires sufficient material penetration, plane orientation and carefully controlled welding speed with minimal interruption. To achieve a good curve penetration, the welder must work on the highest amperage rating, which allows the welding rod or electrode. To make it effective, the working piece must be at the level so that the pool of the molten metal settles in the seam without wearing or running. This is the biggest problem with welding vertical or overhead runs, where lower current settings are needed to prevent the welding fund from sagging. The right weld speed and running continuity are also vital components of the sound welded joint.
All these requirements are difficult to achieve a static work. The welding positioner solves all these problems by turning the workpiece at a controllable constant speed. This allows Artisan standing in one position and working on a permanent level of orientation. The welding positioner can also be controlled to turn the working piece at exactly the right speed to maintain it continuously, adequately piercing welder.
The completion of the circular joint in one operation reduces the completion time and increases productivity. The welder can also sit or stand comfortably, reducing fatigue and allowing you to focus better on achieving a perfect seam. The welding positioner can be electrically or pneumatically hydraulically driven and is available in a wide range of sizes to suit all applications.
