What Is a Wood Turning Lathe?
Woodworking machine tools from the sawing of wood logs to the processing of wood products used in various cutting equipment. Mainly used in manufacturing sectors such as construction, furniture and wooden molds.
Woodworking machine
Right!
- Woodworking machine tools used from wood sawing to processing into wood products
- For wood
- According to processing methods and objects, woodworking machine tools can be divided into woodworking saws, woodworking planers, woodworking lathes, woodworking milling machines, woodworking drilling machines, tenoning machines, tenon groove machines,
- domestic
- 1. For any woodworking machine tool with a special person, the operator must pass the examination and hold the "Equipment Operation Certificate" of the machine tool before operation. If there is no woodworking machine tool with a special person, someone should also hold the machine tool. "Equipment Operation Certificate" is only allowed to use machine tools.
- Second, carefully implement the following general rules for woodworking machine tools:
- (A) carefully before work:
- 1. There is a machine tool operated by a special person. The operator should carefully read the handover record to understand the operation status and problems of the previous machine tool.
- 2. Check on the machine tool and the work site, and remove any debris that is not related to the work.
- 3. Check that the safety protection devices are complete. Machines without guards are not allowed to operate.
- 1. The inspection operation should be in a non-working position.
- 2. Check that the electrical distribution box is closed securely and the electrical grounding is good.
- 3. Check that the amount of oil in the lubricating oil storage part is sufficient and well sealed. The oil gauge, oil cup, grease nipple, etc. should be complete, installed correctly, and the oil eyes are not blocked. Refuel as specified in the lubrication chart.
- 4. Machine tools that have been parked for more than one shift should be run in dry run to verify that they can work normally.
- (2) Seriously in the work:
- 1. There is a machine tool operated by a special person. The operator should stick to his post, operate it carefully, and do not do anything unrelated to work. Stop when leaving the machine and cut off the power. There is no return to the machine operated by a special person. After the user has finished the machine, the user should stop and cut off the power.
- 2. The tools and wood should be correctly clamped and fastened.
- 3. The mechanical speed change of transmission and feed must be stopped after the tool leaves the workpiece.
- 4. Be careful not to have nails in the wood, to prevent damage to the cutter.
- 1. Pay close attention to the machine's operating conditions, lubrication conditions, temperature rise conditions, and sound conditions. If there are any abnormalities, stop the machine immediately to check and troubleshoot before working.
- 2. The machine should stop immediately when an accident occurs, keep the accident scene, and report to the relevant departments for analysis and processing.
- (3) Carefully do after work:
- 1. Put the operation handle to a non-working position and cut off the power.
- 2. Clean the machine and clean the work site.
- 3. The machine tool operated by a special person is fixed. During the operation, the machine tool problems found in the class should be filled in the handover record book to do the work well.
- Third, carefully implement the following special regulations for woodworking machine tools:
- (1) Woodworking lathe:
- The tool should be mounted on an adjustable tool holder or hand-held against the tool holder for turning. It is not allowed to hold the turning in the air.
- (2) Woodworking milling machine:
- 1. During the work, the spindle cannot be milled until the spindle runs normally. When using a large-diameter milling cutter, slow milling should be started.
- 2. The spindle should not be raised and lowered too fast, the strenuous depth should not be too large, and the manual feed should be uniform.
- 3. When the spindle is required to be reversed, the tool must be retracted from the workpiece, and the spindle must be rotated before stopping.
- 4. The M woodworking milling machine is only allowed to use the cutter head at the speed of 1320 rpm. The other three speeds of 2010, 2645 and 4080 are not allowed to use the cutter head for milling.
- 5. Feeding speed: 18000r / min Scope of application: plate furniture making, decoration, plastic plate products, etc.
- (3) Woodworking planer:
- 1. Use manual cranking before work, and confirm that the tool can rotate flexibly before starting the machine.
- 2. Planing can only be performed after the machine tool is running normally.
- 3. Flat planer: (1) The protective board should be moved according to the width of the wood.
- (2) When planing, pay attention to check whether the knots on the wood are dead or alive, so as not to hurt people.
- 4. Planing: Pay attention to the big and small tails of the wood when planing, and give proper strength according to the size of the wood. The maximum must not exceed 5 cm.
- (4) Woodworking saws:
- 1. Circular saw machine:
- (1) Check that the circular saw blade is installed correctly and firmly before work. Manual turning should be flexible.
- (2) Do not allow too much feed during sawing. If the saw blade speed slows down due to excessive feeding, the wood should be retracted slightly immediately, and the material will be fed after the number of revolutions is restored.
- 2. Ordinary band saw:
- (1) Before work, the saw blade should be adjusted to be tight and the tooth top is higher than the end face of the flywheel edge.
- (2) When adjusting the tilt of the workbench as required, pay attention not to touch the saw blade and the clamp, and level the workbench in time after the work.
- (3) Do not allow too much feed when sawing. If the speed of the saw blade is slowed down due to excessive feeding, the wood should be retracted slightly immediately, and the material will be fed after the number of revolutions is restored.
- (4) Lower the upper flywheel after work to relax the saw blade.
- 3, 48 "sports car band saw machine:
- (1) Before work:
- Adjust the saw blade to make it tight. The tooth tip is 20 mm higher than the end face of the flywheel edge.
- There are hardwood blocks on the upper and lower rolling heads to clamp the saw blade so as not to swing the saw blade, but it should not be clamped too tightly to cause the saw blade to heat up.
- Close the wooden protective cover door of the upper flywheel.
- (2) In the work:
- Disconnect the clutch that adjusts the band saw's movement when sawing for adjustment at any time.
- Wipe kerosene or water on the saw blade frequently to lubricate and cool it.
- The upper rolling head slider should be moved to a distance of 50 ~ 100 mm from the sawn wood.
- The speed of a sports car should be determined according to the volume and soft texture of the sawn wood.
- As long as the round material is sawn, it is only necessary to tie it for fishing. When the round material is thin, it must be tied up and down for fishing.
- When the wood is removed from the edge or a board, the car should prevent the wood from hitting the saw blade due to deformation when the car is returned.
- When the wood saw is broken in the middle and the sports car is going to return, the joystick installed on the sports car frame to prevent the wooden frame from moving should be held without moving the wooden frame.
- Do not add oil or tighten bolts when the machine is moving.
- When the machine is stopped or the sports car is loaded, the sports car joystick controller should be controlled.
- (3) Lower the upper flywheel after work to relax the saw blade.
