What Is an Electric Valve Actuator?

Valve electric actuator refers to the machinery that uses electric energy as the main energy source to drive the valve. Divided into multi-turn, part-turn, straight-through, angled and so on.

Electric valve actuator

According to its working characteristics, it can be divided into the following categories:
Multi-turn (Suitable for gate valves, shut-off valves, and other valves that require multiple rotations of the handle for opening and closing operations, or part of rotary valves such as butterfly valves, ball valves, and plug valves driven by worm gears.)
Partial rotation (generally used for butterfly valves, ball valves, plug valves, etc., only need to rotate 90 degrees to complete the opening and closing valves)
Straight-through (actuator's drive shaft is aligned with valve stem)
Angle type (actuator's drive shaft is perpendicular to valve stem), etc.
