Developed countries such as the United States and Europe have adopted ductless blue connections for air ducts since the 1990s. At present, this process has been widely used in various projects. China's national standard GB50243-2002 "Ventilation and Air Conditioning Engineering Construction and Acceptance Specifications" clearly stipulates that rectangular ducts can use the non-blue connection process. Beijing Zhonglv Building, Wangfujing Hotel, and Shanghai Bell Telephone Company all use non-blue connection forms, which are effective.
In recent years, the use of air ducts as an important part of air conditioning and ventilation systems has increased every year, and their requirements have become higher and higher. Advances in science and technology have led to the emergence of new materials and new processes for the production and installation of air ducts, and common plate flange air ducts are one of them. The common plate flange air pipe production line has become an indispensable tool for large building installation enterprises, and the ability to produce common plate flange air pipe has become an important factor affecting the undertaking of key HVAC projects.
Due to the lack of advanced processing equipment in the country in the past few years and the lack of standard approval, most installation units used angle steel flange connections during the production and installation of air ducts, which consumed a large amount of angle steel, welding rods, bolts, and paint. And other materials, as well as a large amount of labor; production accuracy, work efficiency is low, production costs are high, and the production and installation quality of the air duct is not easy to be guaranteed, which is a relatively old and backward production process. With the current "Ventilation and Air Conditioning Engineering Construction and Quality Acceptance Code" (GB50243-2016) for the wind pipe can not be connected in blue, the common plate flanged air pipe processing line has become more and more popular in China.
