What Is Rigid Board?

Printed circuit boards can be divided into rigid printed boards and flexible printed boards according to the materials made. Rigid printed boards include phenolic paper laminates, epoxy paper laminates, polyester glass felt laminates, and epoxy glass cloth laminates. The flexible circuit board is a printed circuit board with high reliability and high flexibility, which is made of polyimide or polyester film as the base material.

After the completion of the inner layer circuit board, glass fiber resin film and the outer layer of copper foil should be bonded. Before lamination, the inner layer board needs to be blackened (oxygenated) to increase the insulation of the copper surface; roughen the copper surface of the inner layer circuit so as to produce good bonding performance with the film. When laminating, firstly, the six-layer circuit board with the inner layer circuit board containing more than is riveted in pairs with a rivet machine. Then use the tray to put it neatly between the mirror steel plates, and then send it into the vacuum laminator to harden the film with appropriate temperature and pressure. The pressed circuit board uses X-ray automatic positioning lock to lock out the machine and use the hole as a reference hole for the alignment of the inner and outer circuit. The board edge should be cut appropriately to facilitate subsequent processing. [2]
