What is water abstraction?

water abstraction is a term used to define a process that can be artificially removed in its natural environment by some kind of artificial structure or the process of changing the flow of water from its usual course to some other course that people responsible for diversion could set. This process of water abstraction is ancient, which extends for many centuries and can be achieved by many means for many purposes. The exact means for water abstraction depend on many variables that include the purpose of abstraction, location, type of established laws on the procedure and type of sources available for the extraction process.

An example of a means that can abstract water is the one that is very common in many countries of the world, and also the one that has existed for millennia. This process is through the well in the ground until it reaches the water levels that lie at different degrees below the ground, depending on the site. AsIle is achieved by this table, individuals responsible for drilling a hole will be able to achieve water and draw it for many purposes, including drinking, home use or other types of use. Another application of this method is the development of the process of irrigation of agricultural crops, in which such water will be obtained from a certain type of main flow, which can either be a water body or by drilling holes below the ground.

Another type of water abstraction method, which is popular in some developing countries of the world, is the drill of holes from which the water will be pumped to the surface through some type of machine. As shown in the above, some regulation is required to guide water through various sources due to the negative consequences that are associated with uncontrollable removal or diversion of water. Some of these negative factors include bridging water in this area until the water level falls to a level that is not easily accessible or the way in which such abstraction affectsIt is the level of other natural water bodies such as rivers and streams. For this purpose, many countries have many laws and regulations that are specifically focused on this area.
