How Do I Give First Aid for Bleeding?

The bleeding emergency method is suitable for emergency hemostasis of trauma.

Bleeding First Aid

Use your hand or a clean cloth to stop the wound on the wound. If the bleeding site is an arm or leg, you can lift it above other parts of the body. If you can't stop bleeding, if something penetrates the wound, or if the injured person is bleeding from an animal injury, you should see a doctor. If possible, wash your hands first, then clean the wound and surrounding skin. Cover the wound with sterile gauze or cotton, and fix it in place with tape or bandages. If blood starts to leak out, don't split the original bandage, add a new bandage. Do not tie the bandage too tightly, as this will prevent blood circulation.

First, determine the type of broken blood vessels. There are three types of blood vessels: arterial blood vessels, venous blood vessels, and capillaries.
Method of determination: if it is only a small bleeding. The damaged blood vessels are capillaries. Of course. The damage to the capillaries is not a big problem. Simple treatment is sufficient.
If blood loss occurs in a "flow" manner, and the blood flow is not limited, the damaged blood vessel is a venous blood vessel.
If blood loss occurs in a "spray" manner, the damaged blood vessel is an arterial blood vessel.
Venous blood vessels should be damaged by pressing the distal end of the wound, that is, the end farther away from the heart than the wound. Press firmly or tie it with clean gauze. Perform some small treatment appropriately and seek medical attention immediately.
Damaged arterial blood vessels should press the proximal end of the wound, that is, the end closer to the heart than the wound. Press firmly or tie it with clean gauze. Perform some small treatment appropriately and seek medical attention immediately.
