What Are the Different Budesonide Side Effects?
For many years, AstraZeneca has been committed to relieving pain for the majority of rhinitis patients. As early as 1983, the use of the Renault Coulter pressure metered dose inhalation device (pMDI) has been used to treat rhinitis, but it was found that when using the pressure metered dose inhalation device, a part of the drug was retained in the container, and the drug that actually reached the nasal mucosa The dosage is only 67%, and the pressure dosing device requires a driver (such as Freon) and a lubricant, which leads to a high incidence of side effects; therefore, an aqueous suspension (Budesonide nasal spray) has been developed and is non-preservative Additives, the incidence of side effects is small, when the drug is sprayed into the nasal cavity, it will change from a water-like liquid to a thick, gel-like liquid, which can cover the nasal mucosa well, and the dose reaching the nasal mucosa is 100%; Recent studies have found the best dose for rhinitis; therefore, AstraZeneca adjusted the package dose and launched a new package of budesonide in August 2002.
