What Is a Back Splint?

Plywood, also known as plywood, is commonly known in the industry as fine core board. It is made of three or more layers of one-mm thick veneer or sheet glued by hot pressing. It is currently the most commonly used material for handmade furniture. Plywood is a thin board with three or more layers, which is made by cutting raw wood into veneer or planing into thin wood, and then gluing with an adhesive. Generally, an odd number of veneers are used, and the fiber directions of adjacent veneers are aligned and glued vertically. So there are odd layers of plywood such as three, five and seven. A kind of metal plywood is also commonly used on railway tracks, commonly known as fishtail, also known as road plywood.

The plywood is generally 2440MM long and 1220MM wide. The thickness is divided into three specifications: 3 centimeters, 5 centimeters, 9 centimeters, 12 centimeters, 15 centimeters, and 18 centimeters. (1 cent is 1mm). Of course, there are 21% and 25%, and the thickness can basically be produced according to different requirements.
First, plywood has all the advantages of natural wood, such as light weight, high strength, beautiful texture, insulation, etc., and can make up for some of the shortcomings of natural wood such as knots, small format, deformation, large differences in vertical and horizontal mechanics, etc. .
Second, plywood production can make reasonable use of logs. Because it has no sawdust, one cubic meter of plywood can be produced per 2.2-2.5 cubic meters of logs, which can be used instead of sawing about 5 cubic meters of logs into boards. For each cubic meter of plywood products produced, 1.2-1.5 cubic meters of residue can be produced. Meters, which is the density of production
Due to the use of plywood, the release of formaldehyde from plywood has always been a major concern. The general plywood contains formaldehyde, so it is necessary to remove formaldehyde after decoration.
Due to the long release period of formaldehyde in the splint, it is also necessary to use an environmentally friendly and safe way to remove formaldehyde in daily life, [2]
The pores have a pore size ranging from 0.27 to 0.98 nanometers and are arranged in crystals. At the same time, it has weak electrical properties. The molecular diameters of formaldehyde, ammonia, benzene, toluene, and xylene are between 0.4 and 0.62 nanometers, and they are all polar molecules. They have the priority to adsorb formaldehyde,
Plywood, also known as plywood, is a planer in which logs are sliced to a thickness of about 1 mm per layer. After being fully air-dried, glue is added, compacted by special mechanical equipment, and the decorative texture and good surface layer are affixed on both sides, and cut into decorative boards of a certain specification. The most commonly used splint size for decoration is 1220 mm x 2440 mm.
The hardness of the plywood is generally high. Because the material and texture have been staggered vertically during the gluing process, the strength is strong and it is not easy to deform.
Plywood can be divided into three plywood, five plywood,
It is not difficult to choose a splint, and you can consider it from the following directions:
1. Pay attention to the quality of the panel. The larger amount of decoration in the market is imported pomegranate three plywood. Imported from Indonesia called "printing plate". Imported from Malaysia called "horse board". The quality of the "printing board" is better than that of the "horse board", and the price is two or three yuan each. When choosing, be sure to pay attention to whether the panel is eucalyptus or other hard wood. In contrast, eucalyptus noodles are better. And it is best to choose imported eucalyptus veneer.
2. Pay attention to the inner sandwich material. Generally, the inner layer of the plywood is mostly miscellaneous wood. It is best to use high-quality materials such as eucalyptus, and pay attention to whether the cross section is smooth, whether there is glue or bubbling between the ply layers, and whether the core board has a large gap.
3 Pay attention to how the entire board looks. The whole plywood with good quality has no warping, deformation and cracking. The side line is straight, the wall thickness is substantial, and the size is standardized. The surface has the same color and lustre, without scars, joints, spots, wormholes, bumps, stains, defects and repairs.
4 Pay attention to the level. Imported eucalyptus triple plywood on the market is mainly BB and CC grades, and AA grades are rare. Be wary of some operators impersonating imported boards with joint venture boards of slightly better quality, or impersonating higher grades with lower grades. In fact, just pay attention to the outer packaging to identify it. Generally, the outer packaging of imported plywood components is printed with the import logo, which is marked with the English import origin: Indonesiasfa (Indonesia), Malaysia (Malaysia), etc.
