What Is a Home Nebulizer?
The nebulizer is the abbreviation of the spray equipment. The nebulizer is a device that uses the air suction effect to turn the medicine or other liquid into a mist and spray it evenly on other objects. In rural areas, the sprayer is an indispensable agricultural tool for controlling pests.
- Divided into four types according to the sprayer principle.
- Based on several mainstream varieties of the most widely used agricultural backpack sprayers, a simple comparison of advantages and disadvantages is provided for the reference of farmers in purchasing.
Sprayer advantages
- Compared with commonly used sprayers, ultra-low-volume sprayers have the advantages of being fast, efficient, lightweight, and cost-effective when compared with commonly used sprayers in the prevention and treatment of flowers, lawns, and crops. The specific performance is:
- 1. Low water consumption: The ultra-low-volume sprayer uses a pesticide stock solution, or it only needs to be diluted very low times, so it does not need a lot of water.
- 2. Less dosage: about 100 grams of spraying liquid per acre, not tens of kilograms, or even hundreds of kilograms. Therefore, labor intensity can be greatly reduced during use, and labor is saved.
- 3. Evenly distributed mist droplets: The ultra-low-volume sprayer does not spray the medicinal solution directly on the plants, but uses the wind to make the droplets with a diameter of only several tens of micrometers dispersed and drifted, and then under the action of "micro airflow" around the plants, The droplets are evenly distributed on the front, back and sides of the plant leaves and the whole plant. In this way, the killing rate of the pests is higher than that of the pesticide diluted by adding a large amount of water, especially for certain pests that have developed resistance, and the effect is better. The killing function of the pesticide stock solution is several times or even dozens of times higher than that after dilution with water.
- 4, easy to use: hand-held ultra-low-volume sprayer spray head always maintain a height of about 1 meter above the plant. Since this type of sprayer eliminates the need for a liquid medicine nozzle, the liquid medicine flows out by itself when the medicine bottle is lowered. Therefore, before the motor is turned on, the medicine bottle should be below and the nose should be above. When spraying medicine, the motor should be started first, and then the position of the medicine bottle and the machine head should be changed so that the medicine bottle is above, the mouth of the bottle is down, and the bottle body is perpendicular to the ground, and the medicine liquid flows out by itself.
Sprayer operation method
- When spraying, start from the downwind direction, and the walking route should be separated by a certain distance, which is the spray width. The size of the spray pattern should be grasped flexibly according to the wind speed. When the wind speed is small, the spray width should be smaller, otherwise it should be larger, generally 3 meters to 3.5 meters is appropriate. The best time to spray is in the morning, afternoon or cloudy, to avoid the sun. Ultra-low-volume sprays are best used with systemic agents, fumigants or stomach poisons. The dosage is usually about 50 grams per mu. If you need to add water in an appropriate amount, you can use the "equivalent method". [4]
