What Is Carvedilol?
Carvedilol high concentration can block calcium channels. It causes dilation of two capillaries through 1 receptor blocking and non-selective receptor blocking, reducing peripheral resistance and lowering blood pressure. Carvedilol's vasodilation effect is mainly due to the blocking effect of 1 receptor. Some metabolites also have beta receptor blocking effects. These metabolites also have a weak vasodilation effect.

- 2. Cardiovascular system: treatment of bradycardia, orthostatic hypotension, rarely causes syncope; rare peripheral circulation disorders (cold limbs), edema and angina; rare intermittent claudication or Raynaud Symptoms worsen in some patients; atrioventricular block and increased heart failure can occur in individual patients.
- 3. Respiratory system: occasionally induces the onset of asthma or dyspnea in patients, rare nasal congestion.
- 4. Digestive system: rare constipation and vomiting; occasional gastrointestinal discomfort (such as abdominal pain, diarrhea, nausea, etc.) and elevated serum aminotransferases.
- 5. Urogenital system: rare dysuria, sexual dysfunction; patients with heart failure and diffuse vascular disease and / or renal insufficiency may further aggravate renal function damage, and renal failure may occur in individual cases.
- 6. Skin: Rare allergic rashes, individual patients may have urticaria, pruritus, lichen planus-like skin reactions. Psoriasis-like skin damage may occur or exacerbate the original condition.
