What is the ablation of laser sweat?

Laser sweat ablation is a medical procedure that involves the destruction and removal of ecrin glands in the armpits, the glands that cause people to sweat. Doctors perform a procedure in individuals suffering from excessive water sweat called hyperhidrosis. This condition can be quite embarrassing and unpleasant and laser sweat ablation provides a permanent solution to the problem. It is used as an alternative treatment for botox, medicines and more extensive surgery.

The procedure is usually performed at the clinic. The sweat test first determines the armpit areas that require the largest treatment. The doctor or nurse marks these areas and the patient is then injected by local anesthetics. Small cuts, approximately 2 to 3 millimeters are produced under the armpits, and the doctor separates the skin from the base layer of fat. It inserts an infrared laser fiber into the cuts and drains and destroys EKCRINE glands are present on the underside of the skin.

As soon as the glands are destroyed, the doctor removes the dead tissue by pulling it out of the skin. The doctor then arranges pEyewarts back to place. Since the slices are too small to require stitches, instead of a compression bandage to apply to the area to be in place for proper healing. The whole procedure of ablation of laser sweat usually takes only a few hours. The doctor often prescribes antibiotics to prevent any infection.

As well as any medical procedure, laser sweating ablation has a risk. There is a low risk that treatment does not work or that glands can eventually grow in the long run. Pain, numbness and bruises may occur, but this is usually temporary. There is also a possibility of hair loss and loss of pigmentation in darker skin. More serious risks include infedion, disintegration of armpit, lympoke or lymphatic fluid leakage.
