The book describes such a story. About 60 years ago, several British people came to an unfamiliar place because of an accident. Obviously this is a Tibetan area surrounded by snow-capped mountains. There is a gold mine at the bottom of the Grand Canyon. In an isolated place, they have received an excellent reception, where time seems to be meaningless, and they feel that they are at the mysterious core of Eastern culture. along with

Deeper understanding, they knew that time really lost its meaning here. People here are amazingly long-lived. Many religions coexist here. In a lama temple, they saw the local spiritual leader, a living Buddha, in the influence of the living Buddha. Now, some of them are convinced by the oriental culture. They feel that the world has unfolded to them an amazing and awesome side. In the canyon, people live freely and enjoy the rewards of the sun and snow mountains quietly. The gold of the canyon was dismissive. Lama Temple led the whole valley and formed the Shangri-La society. Shangri-La lived mainly Tibetan people. Their beliefs and customs are different. There are sects such as Confucianism, Taoism, Buddhism, but they are united. Friendship, harmony and happiness. In all areas of Shangri-La, we adhere to the "modest" virtue when dealing with the relationship between sects, ethnic groups, people and people, and nature. We believe that human behavior has three states: excessive, inferior and moderate. All are sinful. Only moderation is perfect. Shangri-La is a multi-ethnic, multi-religious, multi-cultural, multi-climate, multi-geographically compatible place.
Since then, the term has become a symbol of eternity, peace, and tranquility. At that time, the authoritative "British Dictionary of British Scholars" specifically stated that one of the achievements of this book was the creation of the word "Xanadu" for English vocabulary. Hollywood studios bought the copyright and put "Lost Horizon" on the screen, which immediately swept the world, and the term "Shangri-La" became more widely known. The movie theme song "This Beautiful Shangri-La" soon sang all over the world. Shangri-La's "Xanadu" symbol has become an ideal place for people to seek. Later, the term Shangri-La was bought out by the Hong Kong entrepreneur Guo's family and became the hotel's trade name, which then swept the world and became one of the supreme symbols of the world's hotel brands. This has confirmed the greatness of "The Vanishing Horizon" in humanities from the side significance. "The Disappearing Horizon" has become a Westerner's "Peach Blossom Origin". The great significance of "The Disappearing Horizon" is that it has implanted the artistic conception of a paradise of earth for western cultural values. Since then, this imaginary earth has become synonymous with "Eden," "Xanadu," and "Utopia."
Where Shangri-La is is always a mystery of the world. James Hilton created a world of human ideal for readers, and left a mystery worth searching for. No one knows where this place is on the earth, but only where the Tibetans call it "Shangri-La", where is "Shangri-La"? Nobody knows.
