Take time

It is important to consider reading as one part of the overall development of the child's language, not as a separate skill. With this lens, it is clear that early exposure to the spoken language and the written language will have permanent effects on how the child learns to read. It is probably not surprising for you that learning is intimately associated with your emotions. Rhyming games, sound games and sound mixing games will contribute to the ability to read a child. Creating connections between the sounds from the page will only support them because they learn to connect written symbols and sounds.

There is a disadvantage strategy of phonics "sound". Many students and parents will subscribe to the unconscious belief that if they can sound a word, they can read the word. The separation of the written word from its understood meaning is, of course, dangerous. Even as adults, we encounter words that we have the ability to say or even spell correctly, even if we have no idea what the meaning of the word is.
