How do I build a snare drum?

Snare Buben is a musical instrument in the bump family, which contains tight stripes of snares stretched over the head of the drum. The location of Snares and the material used to create them affects the sound that results in playing the drum. To create a drum, the ingredients are first collected and the drum shell is cut, ground and coated. The holes are then drilled at specific places for hardware and snare wires, then there is a bearing edge where the head of the drum and shell is cut. Finally, hardware and snare wires are connected.

You want to build a drum drum, it takes some practice, patience and time, but as soon as the steps are managed, it is a relatively simple process. The drum shell is made of a circular piece of wood or metal, which is the same thickness all the time. If wood is used, it must be colored, colored and then sealed with an urethane coat to protect the finished product. The shell is then glued into its perimeter shape using a heavy mixture.

As soon as Shell is ready, the drum must be marked to install hardware. These are screws and nuts that hold parts of the drum together. The location of the hardware will affect the sound of the drum and the pieces should be evenly distributed around the shell. Many drum manufacturers decide to use the Snare drum template available online to perform this step. The common method is to stick the drum at intervals to indicate where the holes should be drilled.

When the holes are drilled, manual drills or drilling presses can be used. It is necessary to ensure that the shell does not bend or deformed. The point of meeting between the head of the drum and the shell is called the bearing. To create a drum that has a good tone, this step is very important. Usually the router is used to cut the bearing edge at an angle of 45 degrees.

on this point, the main parts of the drum and hardware are assembled. Butt, strainer and hoop are connected tothe top of the drum. Snare wires are held on the solid side of the butt, while the sieve holds the wires on the other side with a switch that can release them. HOOP is a ring that creates tension on the drum and holds the head of the drum in place. Each piece is attached to the metal screws through the holes that were drilled in the previous step.

The last step to create a drum is to attach Snare wires. It is the same width as the drum shell and are attached to the butt and sieve. Wires can be made of metal, plastic cables or intestinal fibers. Once it is done, the drum is complete and ready to play.
