How do I build steps of retaining walls?
The
retaining walls are common features in the landscape yards because they can prevent erosion, help drainage, increase visual interest and allow the design of ordinary yards. In many cases, the steps of the support walls must be installed to complement the retaining wall. A specific type of retaining wall determines the type of staircase to be installed because the installation of the step is a modified version of the wall construction technique. In all cases, ensure durability and safety by careful planning and installation.
Most footholds are designed using concrete bricks or natural stone. These materials can also be used to create steps of support walls. Concrete bricks are easy to install safely due to their regular size and many companies even produce special staircase bricks. Natural stone is generally less regular material, although some varieties enjoy almost uniform sizes, suitable for staircases.
The first step in installing a reposting from the wall is planning and mMěsní. The required staircase height, as well as the depth to which it will be embedded in the wall, should be measured. These measurements are then divided into steps. Each step should be almost 7 inches (about 18 cm) tall and ten inches (26 cm) deep. Steps should be installed with a uniform rise speed and have the same dimensions to reduce the risk of tripping.
6 If the retaining wall is located in the middle of the retaining wall, both sides of the staircase should be simply considered to be the retaining wall segments and formed by stacking and layering blocks or stones. If it is at the end of the wall, only one side must be built in this way. The stairs themselves should be installed using the modified AME stechnic version as bricks in the wall. The lower row of the support wall should be placed on the bed of the compacted gravel ending with wrapped sand and flushing the ground level. For the first for the first, also on the bed ZabaLeny sand and gravel, but one staircase height above the first, is located the second row, which can be built of several bricks if strong, flat bricks or stones are used. The gravel is then used to fill in the second row, to create a surface level for the third row, etc. The base of each step should be below the upper part of the step below it. Some steps will have to be in place and others will require the use of a concrete adhesive of a similar seal.
