How do I install concrete paving stones?
Installing concrete paving stones is a direct but multi -stage process. The first phase is the planning and layout of projects, followed by excavation and preparation of the place. Then the base layer of gravel and the adjusting bed of the sand is installed. Finally, the concrete paved stones themselves are added and touch touches are applied. Before you do anything else, call local public service services and mark any buried tubes or cables. If concrete paved stones are placed next to the house or other large solid structures, this structure should be used as a base and measurement.
Use the level and line to measure and mark the boundary of the installation area. Make an installation area of 2-3 inches (about 5.1-7.6 cm) larger than the size of the finished project. At this stage, the laser level may be useful.
Start digging after designing the site. Dug about 8 inches (20.3 cm) of the ground, more in areas with harder frost or poor drainage. Larger concrete pavedStones will also need a deeper hole.
Use the line to ensure that the bottom of the hole is flat. Slopes a hole from neighboring structures to ensure drainage. Compact the ground with the board compactor.
When the hole is ready, add a layer of 3-4 inches (about 7.6-10.2 cm) of the gravel filling. This provides a base for concrete paved stones and keeps them stable and at the same time allows drainage. Compact the gravel compactor of the board.
If you add more than 3-4 inches (about 7.6-10.2 cm) gravel, then add the gravel to the layers of about 3 inches (7.6 cm) deep and complicate each layer until it is solid. Install the tile restriction on the edge of the project area. There should be some gravel outside the restaurant to keep them tightly anchored.
After applying the gravel, add a layer of sand that holds concrete paved stones. Use a plate or inflexible tube to keep the sand surface intohorses flat. For larger projects, use boards or pipes mounted temporarily mounted in the sand to move to the level across to make the sand straight. Compact the sand by compact the board.
Then start setting concrete tiles on site. Follow the formula carefully. Use lines or straight edges to make sure that the edges of the tiles form lines. Using a block hub, cut the blocks as needed for the edges of your terrace or garden path.
After all tiles are in place, add a layer of sand and using the plate compactr it is incorporating the joints between the cobblestones. Sweep any excess sand. Add more sand regularly as needed, for example if a rain washing.
