How do I replace the washing machine door?
When replacing the washing machine seal with the first step that should always be done, it is to ensure that safety procedures are observed. Once the pad is turned off, the seal inside the door must be placed together with a specific locking device installed. Removing the seals is an easy procedure that usually requires only the use of a flat screwdriver or a small pry bar, because it does not matter whether it is damaged or not. Finally, the replacement of the new door of the washing machine and the mechanism of locking the affairs or the reverse of the previous steps is, but to be careful to be damaged by the new one.
Safety is always in the first place in implementing any project, although it is as simple as this. Turn off the power supply to the machine by inverting the circuit breaker that supplies the source. Glue the fuse and mark it so that others in the area know they don't turn it back. After disconnecting the energy, the water should be switched off. It can be easily done at the top of the hoses using valves that should be connected to the wall.
Start this task by taking off the machine door, allowing easier access to the seal and circle. A hex key or screwdriver will be required to remove the hinges from the door. Remove them from the door and leave them to the machine itself. Place the door on a solid surface so that the door seal can be replaced without having to deal with any obstacles.
The washing machine gaskets are usually a flexible rubber piece that moves with the units vibrations, allowing it to contain water inside the drum, but to stop any moisture to create airtight seals when the door is closed. The ring that is located around its edge is usually everything that holds it in place, or there may be a small blocking mechanism somewhere around the inner part of the gasket and door. Either way, before removing the actual sealing must be a locking ring or mechanisms removed. If it is a ring, a basic flat screwdriver or a small flat rod can be used to expire. If it is a locking mechanism, simply analyze it to see how it works and unlock and remove.
Once the locking mechanism is removed, it is easy to expire the old seal. Simply use a flat tool that is useful and press firmly under the door of the washing machine and use it as a lever. Respection down or up depending on the tool location and remove one part of the seals at a time. When performing this procedure, it is not necessary to be careful because it will be thrown away anyway, so do everything necessary to reduce it in half if necessary.
The disassembly process should now be completed to put a new washing door seal now. Start on one edge and slowly work it in place, make sure it will not damage the rubber, otherwise the new seal will be as inefficient as old. Replace the locking mechanism that has been taken off and PClocks the water and power. Now it is a good idea to fill the bathtub with water and watch it agitate to ensure that the seals fit correctly.
