What are the bells?

There are several different and non -filled percussion tools referred to as Bells:

  • Agogô Bells
  • Almglocken (Swiss cow bulls)
  • Bell Lyre
  • Bell Plate
  • Bell Tree
  • bell -off (tubular bells)
  • Cowbells
  • Glockenspiel (orchestral bells)

All bells are made of metal.

Agogô Bells. coming from Brazil and based on West African cow buds, agogóres or agog's bells are welded on the U -shaped handle. Organized in sets 2, 3 or 4 and tuned to 2 or 3.

almglocken. Almglocken or the Swiss cow Bulls are a set of bells similar to those used to monitor grazing animals in the Alps, hence their name. They are arranged on the keyboard and play with sticks. Rather than set the plane, the keyboard fashion, it is Carried upright with the tuned rods arranged in the shape of a lyre. GLOCKENSPIEL. Originally a replacement for real bells, Glockenspiel or Orchestral Bells is a set of tuned metal bars arranged on a tray or in a frame of keyboards for an orchestra or band. It can be played with different sticks and creates a clear and clear sound.
