What are Cohiba cigars?

Coiba cigarettes are the world famous brand of cigars created by the Cuban Society on the cigar Habanos S.A. They are manually rolled and use the highest quality tobacco. The specially selected tobacco comes from the Vuelta Abajo area in the Cuban province of Pinar del Rio. Cuban cigars Cohiba are sold on domestic and international markets at premium prices. It is produced by USA General Cigar Company, Inc. in the Dominican Republic. General Cohibas are also high quality and highly affordable. The company prints the word COHIBA with a red dot inside a letter about the Cuban cigar in 1966. The creation of cigars began as a small business and soon grew into a fair factory. However, cigars were made exclusively for Castro and his political collaborators. Quite often, cigars were also given as diplomatic gifts. Their exclusivity and perfection have given them a high cult status.

Only in 1982, during the Football Championship in Spain, Cuban cigars were sold for the first time in the general market. Three Vitolas, or size, made available on this occasion were originally created in 1969. They were cigars of the virgin, Corona Especial Cigar and Lancero cigars. These cigars are part of the classic range of lines that expanded three more Vitolas in 1989. The new additions were Cohiba Robusto Cigar, Cohiba Exquisito Cigares and Cohiba esplendido cigarers.
