What are drum cards?

Cards

Drums are a method of writing drum music differently than with standard music notation. Many of them consider the table easier to read and more user -friendly than traditional music notation, although it may not provide the same level of detail. Drum cards have rows running from left to right, which represent each individual drum and have a hint of timing in columns running along the top. The positions of different symbols in rows and columns show a player that the drum hits which rhythm. Different symbols for the type of intervention also instruct a drummer about how to play a certain note specifically.

Music Tablature is a non -standard way to show how to play music on a particular instrument. Other tools such as guitar and piano also have a tablative form of music specifically for them. Music notation is a technically correct method of displaying music, and this is done on five lines called staff, with different lines representatives of different notes. The complexity of understanding the meaning of different symbolsUsed in the notation of music led to the creation of "cards", simpler methods to show how to play a song.

The most important things you can look at when trying to decrypt the DRUM cards are specific rows and columns on which the notes fall. Each line is marked on the left of the card, with letters such as "HH", "BD" and "SD" to represent Hi Hat, bass drum and drum snare. Any brand in a row corresponds to the intervention of this particular drum. Most DRUM cards will have a "key" if the drums have been listed in a non -standard way.

along the upper row of DRUM cards are columns representing time in the song. Each bar is divided into rhythms that produce it usually four. At the top of the Drum tab, something like "1 and 2 and 3 and 4 &" will be displayed and the notes will be arranged in these columns. This example assumes a song that uses the eighth notes and has four rhythms in the bar but can also be used sixteenth notesthat appear on the drum cards as "1 E&A 2 E&A 3 E & A 4 E&A". This is what drummers learn to say when they learn the tool to stay in time, so it is intuitive for most players.

Different symbols can be used at the point of hit to display different types of hits in Kars Drum. The standard symbol for the cycle strike is "X" and for the drum is "O". Other techniques such as accent and spiritual note are displayed by different symbols. For example, "o" represents an accent and "G" represents a spiritual remark.
