What are Eco Pavers ™?
Eco Pavers ™ are a specially designed type of blocking bricks developed by EP Henry®. These bricks are known as the type of permeable finisher. These allow rain water to flow between the bricks and reach the soil below. The water can then be filtered with soil and recirculate safely into the local water supply. Water tends to flow directly through concrete and asphalt to prevent penetration into the ground. Rainwater must be absorbed into the ground as part of the complete water cycle. The Earth naturally filters this water before returning it to streams and lakes that can be used as urban drinking water. Eco Pavers ™ maintains a high level of water leakage into the soil and helps to fulfill the government regulations on water outflow.
Standard bricks are traditionally placed side by side and held on site by densely compacted sand or mortar, which prevents the drain water between them. Eco Pavers ™ are designed to block through stone protrusions on the sides. These protrusions fits to dohrOpadas like pieces of puzzles and create empty gaps between finishes. The spaces are then filled with coarse gravel, which allows you to easily pass water into the subsoil under.
These ecological bricks are usually only over 3 inches (about 7 cm) in thickness. They are 9 inches (22.9 cm) long and weighs slightly more than £ 14 (approximately 6 kg). In general, they are installed on two layers of crushed stone of different sizes and densities. The first layer, directly below the tiles, is the smallest and is usually compacted to 1 to 3 inches (about 2 to 7 cm) below the surface.
water drains via Eco Pavers ™ to collect in a stone tank, the name of the second layer of crushed stone. These stones are slightly larger than the first layer and can be compacted under the surface, between 6 and 12 inches (15 and 30 cm). The depth of this stone layer is determined by the amount of weight that will be regularly placed on the tiles - such as furniture on the terrace or car- and the amount of rainwater that the area usually receives. The water in this tank can be collected and percolled into the surrounding soil.
EP Henry® designs and sells many types of hardscaping materials. In addition to Eco Pavers ™, the company also has standard tiles and wall bricks. It offers a connection between buyers with a certified local supplier who can install finishes professionally. Individuals can also choose to complete the project yourself by purchasing bricks directly from the Astoni website step by step to download.
