What are artificial ceiling beams?

Faux ceiling beams are more decorative than load, ceiling beams, constructed from various lightweight materials. Rather, it hangs from the ceiling of the room rather than supporting it. Available in different styles and finishes, they can be used to achieve a range of architectural effects at relatively modest costs. They are most often used to replicate the appearance of many older architecture styles, but can also be used in purely modern applications.

A typical artificial ceiling beam is a hollow shape of the "U", which is mounted on the ceiling using small brackets. Other varieties of artificial ceiling beam require small wooden mounting boxes to be connected to the wall before connecting the beams themselves. In all cases, these rays are very light and a typical ceiling can easily support their modest weight.

Some of the simplest artificial ceiling beams are simply designed by the production of three sides of a wooden box made of thin pieces of any type of wood and then adding someo reinforcement that protects against deformation or flabby. The advantage of this diversity of faux of ceiling beam is that it is actually wood, and therefore has a fully natural exterior appearance and takes colors or completion in the way any other wood would.

other varieties of artificial ceiling beams are made of plastic of one or the other. Some are made of various postyrophoam®, which are often used in the design of the set. This type of beam is generally relatively cheap, but can be more fragile than other varieties and more difficult to complete. Polyurethane rays are also common. These rays are relatively lightweight and durable and easy to cut and finish. The surface on these rays is often difficult to distinguish from real wood.

In general, artificial ceiling beams are installed in the rooms to mimic the appearance of older styles. The addition of such beams can give an ordinary living roomEven the appearance of the European cottage or the old Tuscan villa. These rays can also be added to walls or sloping walls to create other rustic effects on rustic wood. In a more modern house, the faux ceiling beams can be used in simple black or white, rather than in a wooden surface, to design the distribution of spaces, which is a particularly useful trick in the configuration of large large rooms, which are common in many modern homes.
