What are greenhouses?

Legend has that the Roman gardeners first invented an early form of a greenhouse to serve cucumbers at Caesar's table. Whether it is true or not, the Romans are attributed to the construction of the first greenhouses by kicking a pit on the ground, adding fires to create warmth, and cover the pit by the translucent leaves of the Mine Rock. Since then, greenhouses, also called Glasshouses in Europe, have enabled gardeners the opportunity to grow fruits, vegetables and flowers throughout the year.

during the 15th century, explorers who traveled to the New World in search of treasures that the European have never seen. At the end of the 16th century, a basic greenhouse was invented, but the improvements continued until the Victorian England was remitted greenhouses, as we know them today.

While those who worked on the improvement of the earliest greenhouses, beforeThey built that they flourished inside, because of the heat generated from the fire pit, they soon realized that it was actually light and condensation or moisture, the largest factor in the growing success of Greenhouse.

Today's greenhouses are framed structures closed on all sides by acrylic or glass panels. This includes a transparent roof. Clear walls and roof allow maximum light and capture heat. For plants that require partial sun, a shadow or other form of cover may be built inside the greenhouse. Greenhouses can be freely standing or can be attached to the house or shed with a slim manner. There are mini greenhouses with several shelves, extension of beans for growing kitchen herbs or in the backyard of a greenhouse. On the opposite extreme greenhouses, it can be built to extend the blocks to the end for commercial purposes. Any plants you want to grow will findThe greenhouse that will help you.

Greenhouses can be purchased prefabricated, custom-made design or as a do-it-yourself. Structural beams used to support greenhouses can be made of wood, PVC, aluminum or heavier types of metals. Materials used to create window devices may vary from real glass to many types of plastic or synthetic foils. If you want to build a greenhouse with glass boards, it is best to hire a professional installation program.
