What are parents and tot?

Parents' programs and TOM are recreational programs for toddlers and their parents. Most cities or cities have these programs available in their community or recreational centers and sometimes called "Mom and Me". This community session offers young children the opportunity to communicate with children of the same age who lives in their area. Many people feel that participation in such programs can better prepare children for the social aspects of the school. Although most are held in a recreational or community center, activities such as story times are often held in public libraries. Most of them have structured activities led by the program instructor and free time. During the game, children can use playground equipment outdoors in a recreational or community center, while parents talk and oversee their children.

These programs often take place on weekdays when older children are at school. Are usually carefully timed so that parents can fall away and pick up other children fromschools. The length of each session varies, but because children are usually relatively young, most parents and tat programs do not last more than an hour or two.

Many parents enjoy meeting other parents in their community and give them some social interaction. Sometimes participants create friendship outside the class, while in other cases neighbors can combine their children together. Some programs include excursions to museums and sports events. The activities and number of participants differ very much between programs.
