What are skate shoes?

Skate shoes are athletic shoes designed specifically for use in skateboarding sports. The purpose of designing in skate shoes is intended to minimize foot injury, allow skateboarders to have increased control of their board and ensure improved durability in materials that contain the shoe itself. The design differs considerably between manufacturers, but general properties usually include flat rubber or polyurethane sole, double or triple sewing in the connection area and hard material containing the upper shoe area.

Skateboarding often creates large impact forces on the underside of the foot, which can lead to stress injury, arch and ankle. Skate shoes are designed with regard to this fact, often containing a highly absorbent padding in the areas of the sole where the effects are the largest on the leg. Special sections of suspension or air pockets at the rear help prevent bruises of heels, while the structures of supporting support notes can reduce the arc strains. TOThe onsters also usually include the heel cups and the tip that help keep the leg stationary to minimize blisters before repeating friction. The differences between many produced patterns of these shoes make it important for each person to find a shoe that suits his leg and driving style well.

The aim of the design of skate shoes is also to improve the rider's ability to grasp and control a skateboard. Boot soles are wide and flat, allowing a large area to contact the surface of the skateboard. Rlahoun usually provides deep patterns and many contact points where the shoe can get friction against adhesion found at the top of the skateboard. The soles are usually made of vulcanized material, allowing strength and flexibility and at the same time providing what the riders commonly refer to as a good "feeling of board". The cups are slightly stronger than vulcanized soles and are stuck on the shoe. They tend to be more comfortable, alE can also be larger and the adhesive can weaken over time. The choice of different soles is largely personal preference for each rider.

Skate shoes must be strong and durable to withstand constant wear associated with skateboarding sports. In general, the soles must have a reliable construction to endure the constant abrasivity of the skateboard tape. Lace loops and other protectors are commonly used to limit the contact of laces with an abrasive plate surface to minimize material shredding. Thicker fibers with double or triple sewing can better prevent the disintegration of seams when they are exposed to huge pressure. Better manufacturers also produce shoes of thick materials such as leather or suede to allow comfortable support areas for the upper leg while minimizing stretching and tearing the material with continuing use.
