What are skinny belts?

Skinny Belts are narrow women's belts, usually not more than 1 to 1.5 inches (2.54 to 3.81 cm) in width. While skinny belts have come from fashion several times over the decades, the term “thin belt” itself is relatively new. Dating back to the beginning of the 21st century, the use of the word "thin" in fashion magazines to describe narrow belts most likely derived from the simultaneously popularity of "thin jeans" or jeans with very narrow legs. In the 1940s and 1950s, skinny belts were worn with high -adapted jackets or shirts to further emphasize the female passport. Patented leather belts in red or black were particularly common at the age of 50 and most women connected them with their shoes and handbags. They were kind of kindness, practically disappearing from the mainstream in the 70s when wide legs, maxi dresses and blinked blouses were paired with wide belts that better suited unstructured cuts. Punk subculture of late 70.OvePipe, and therefore the wearers tended to wear thinner belts.

Directly feet of jeans 80. Years brought skinny belts back as a fashion accessory to replenish denim from famous branded labels. Metal colors were popular for thin belts 80 years. Years and some belts were even made to resemble flexible gold chains, often with whimsical clips in shapes such as butterflies, hearts or design logos.

Skinny Belts fell on the sidelines at the age of 90. Although they were rarely visible because of free clothes, belts that decided to pair with 90's jeans, were traditional widths, usually simply stylized and made of black or brown leather.

At the beginning of 2000, Skinny Jeans became a hot fashion trend, afterFirst worn by independent bands and celebrities. Until 2008, most of the stylish young women in America have become the most popular and ubiquitous style of jeans. Skinny Belts naturally followed a suit and were also paired with high waist skirts and worn through the UNTUCKED THE BLESES.
