What are the different types of pandas?

There are two different types of panda in the world and both species are considered endangered in the wild. The giant panda is easily recognized because of black spots around every eyes, ears and other parts of the body. Giant pandas are only found in China and Tibet when they are in the wild. Both panda diet consists of most bamboo stems, leaves and shoots. The giant species will usually consume almost 80 pounds (36.4 kg) of bamboo every day. Pandas will also eat honey, eggs, fish, oranges and bananas when they are available. Usually they spend about 16 hours a day just eat. The panda has a paw consisting of thumb and four fingers. The only necessary duty of the thumb is to keep the bamboo while eating. Their weight is much harder and the average panda weighs up to £ 276 (125.5 kg). It is believed in China that Pandas were the once most valuable animal in the imperial garden of exotic animals. Molecular studies have shown that the giant panda is a real bear and part of the family ursidae .

Red Panda bear commonly found in Bhutan, China, India, Myanmar and Nepal. Red pandas are found in damp coniferous forests. Red pandas usually occur on steeper slopes of the Himalayan mountains compared to giant pandas. They are considered to be vulnerable activists of the wilderness. Like the giant panda, most of the Red Panda diet consists of bamboo. But pandas also eat berries, mushrooms, acorns and various grasses. The average red panda height is about 24 inches (61 cm). In its most difficult, red panda weighs £ 13 (5.9 kg).
