What are the different types of parakeet?
Parakeets are members of the parrot family and can be found in tropical and subtropical climate around the world. In general, these birds are smaller than other parrots and have long feathers on their tail. About 120 species of parakeet are found around the world, which is a number that is difficult to determine because of the term parakeet it is necessarily indicated that birds are closely connected by evolutionary or genetically. Depending on the classification system used, a number of parrots can be considered. The three taxonomic trunks on which parrots can be found are Platycercini, Pstittaculini and Anari, each with dozens of parrots. This strain contains about 40 different types of parakeet, including one of the most famous, Melopittacus undulatus , Thedgerigar or Budgie. In some parts of the Three, including the United States, the term Parakeet is often synonymous with this kind of parakeet because of the popularity of this social, easily tamed bird in a pet shop. In addition to this type of parakeet, Mallee Ringneck Parakeet,Bourke's Parakeet and the princess of Wales Parakeet also common species in the Platycercini tribe.
It is also possible to find different parrots in Asia and Africa. These birds are in the trunk of parrots known as psittaculini. The Ringneck Parakeet is common in Asia and can be identified by a dark belt around its jaw. These birds come in different colors and, like many other parrots, are social and playful. Parakeet Plums, Emerald Collared Parakeet and Newton Parakeet are some of the other types of parakeet found in this group of birds.
Another of the parrots' tribes, Anari, includes a series of keto paradruities that are known together as Conures. These birds look similar, although they do not necessarily have to be closely related. The cones are sometimes referred to as small parrots and sometimes referred to as large parrots. Green parrots, slender parrots and gray parrots can also be found in the Anari tribe. Anari ParaKeets come from North and South America and come in different colors, although most parrots in this trunk are green.
