What are different positions in basketball?

For each team in the basketball game, there are five players on the floor in different positions at the same time. The positions of these players tell a lot about the size of players, athletic skills, skills and responsibility. Of all positions in basketball, the size is the most important in the center . The center is usually the largest player on the floor for each team and its task is to be an impressive force near the basket. The centers are usually not required to roam far from the trash because they provide the team with the best chance of scoring near the basket and the discourage of missed shots due to their size.

There are two types - position next to size to the center. Their responsibility varies depending on the skills of the players in the team, but in general, the power of the center is responsible for the responsibilities of the center. Power Forward is usually the second largest team player, so they are still exposed to become reflectors and scoring near the basket, although they usually have skills to play from the basket more often than CEntra.

A small striker is rather a shooter, a player who plays further from the basket. A small attacker is one of the positions that requires the most versatility in the basketball player because the player must be able to drop low and bounce while he has the skills to get into the basket from dribling and shoot from outside.

The next level of basketball positions is guards . The shooting guard is similar to a small striker and it is not uncommon for the same player to play both positions during the game. The shooting guard is expected to be reflected as little forward, but both are usually point -minded players who can shoot well from outside.

point guard is often a more important basketball position, because, like Quarterback in football, the task of the point guard is to run the crime and distribute the ball. The point guard is usually the smallest players in court and must be sufficientlyfast to prevent opposing guards on the perimeter. Point guards are often good shooters, but not always - a great player and great passers -by can often overcome any shortcomings that he could have as a shooter.

Basketball positions are often referred to as numbers, from the smallest to the largest, points of points 1 and Center 5. There are also different names that are sometimes used for each position and numbering the system allows continuity regardless of the position used.
