What are the different types of pool deck?
There are two types of decks of above -ground pool. There is a free standing package that is adjacent to the pool only and the attached deck that is connected to the house. The choice either largely depends on the design of the deck. Budget and space play equally important roles. The most common type of free -standing package is designed only for easy entry and out of the pool, although many other options are available. Usually it is large enough to stand up to only two people, with steps leading to the ground and another set of steps leading to the pool. Free standing decks are supported by either floating feet or traditional poured foundations. These types of deck of the above -ground ground pool can look like an underground pool. Another advantage is that these generally take up much less space than many free -standing on -board options. They are connected directly to the house, so the connected decks are generally more expensive and more difficult to build than a freestanding deck.
Three of the most common designs for the above -ground pool deck include platforms, single side decks and all around the deck. Since the platforms are the smallest of three, they generally consist of a small deck raised to the level of the pool to provide people with space to sit. It usually does not match the shape of the pool.
One side of the pool corresponds to one side of the pool, allowing people to climb out of the water from any point in the pool. Complete decks are generally the largest of the three, completely surrounding the pool and allow swimmers to get into or out of the pooling of any point. Palots can come into wood, composite or performed plastic, depending on the budget and consumer preference.
