What are the different types of pots?

flower pots, those containers decorating sill or deck, serve several functions and come in a wide range of styles. Strictly speaking, they are "plant pots" and most plant plants are of a non -favorable species. Yet when you buy a container of plants, it never looks for a pot for plants, always a pot. This means that planting in the ground cannot be easily moved to a sunny place for several hours, or brought in when it cools. However, plants in pots can be moved at will. Saler plants such as small trees can be planted in pots sitting on dolly with wheels for easy relocation.

pots are therefore mainly used to produce mobile plants. One special flowerpot case is a "starting pot" or "peat pot", a small container made of peat. The seedlings are germinated in these pots and when they are ready to be placed in a more permanent house, the whole pot can be planted and the peat will break up and become with the soil. This reduces or decreases orIt eliminates the "transplant shock", always when transmitting plants from one container to another.

The most common type of pots are simple terracotta pots. They come with a suitable plate in which they sit, and the pots themselves have a hole at the bottom. In complicated pots with oriental motif glazing, you often find that the plant itself sits in a terracotta pot inserted into a larger, decorative container.
