What are the different types of lawn sprayers?

Deciding on the right type of sprayer is important for the maintenance and aesthetic properties of the lawn. There are different types of lawn sprayers to suit each lawn and each budget. The grass sprinklers fall into about five categories: stationary, oscillating, pulsating, traveling and rotating.

stationary lawn sprinklers are probably the most common. They are usually associated with a water source through the underground pipe system. While the installation of these systems is expensive and connected, the spray heads themselves are cheap and easy to install. Their spray passes through the pattern of the holes at the top, which point the water outwards. They can also work with low water pressure, due to the small size of the spray holes.

The oscillating sprayer is also a popular choice. They usually consist of a plastic base that is attached to the garden hose and have a curved tube with holes that spray the water. This part oscillate and there obscure rectangular clossesAST with water spraying in the shape of a fan. Grass sprinklers, such as these, are ideal for newly deployed areas or soils that slowly absorb water. They are quite common and widely promoted, so the price points differ accordingly.

The most versatile and effective lawn sprayer is a pulsating type. Rain Bird® sprinklers are a well -known example of this variety. Their spray is strong and low to the ground, so it is resistant to wind. The pulsating spray mechanism uses water pressure to gradually turn the water spray in the semi-circuit pattern and back again. They are highly adjustable to work well on the lawns of many shapes.

Some sprinklers are self -propelled, using only water pressure and gear system. Two rotating weapons spray water in an adjustable circular pattern, slowly move the unit along the lawn, led by the garden hose. Are best suited for large nEbo strangely shaped lawns and can be left unattended for hours. Travel sprinklers tend to be expensive, but also well made.

rotary spraying is as a stationary version of the wandering sprayer. They have two or three spray arms that water the lawn in a circular pattern. They work best for small, flat lawns. Sandy or oblique areas are not suitable for watering with a rotary sprayer because they throw water very quickly. Some models allow the spray to be set to eliminate water more slowly or in another average.
