What are the different types of security gates?

Safety gates are most often used to protect children and young children from dangerous situations such as chairs, fireplaces and kitchens. They can also be used to prevent the child from entering undesirable rooms, separating it from a family pet and preventing him from getting under his feet during tedious work. The safety gates are divided into two basic types: hardware mounted on pressure. There are different types of gates in these categories.

Hardware gates, also known as permanent gates, are installed using screws. To ensure reasonable protection, it must be screwed into the door frames or to the studs located behind the walls. Permanent gates are recommended to protect children from the danger of the stairs. These gates are made of metal, wood or enamel steel and can expand up to 43 inches (1.09 meters) without extension and 66 inches (1.68 meters) with one-Mounded Gates. The gates of the fireplace are used as a discouraging means to separate young children from the danger of the fireplace. TOBran onfiguration can extend up to 288 inches (7.3 meters) to suit the odd size of the holes. Railing protectors are transparent shields used to prevent children from holding their heads through the staircase.

The safety gates mounted on the pressure are held in the door or other hole by exerting pressure on the frame or wall. They are made of two sliding boards that adapt to most holes. These gates are made of wood, aluminum, enamel steel, plastic, wire or nylon mesh with rubber end tubes to prevent the walls from damaging. The safety gates mounted on the pressure are small enough to be portable and leave no scars on the walls. There are very few styles of pressure mounted because they require two thick frames to provide the necessary pressure to hold them.

most of the time are used standard gates mounted onpressure, holding children or pets outside the room for a short time. Because they only work on pressure, they cannot be used to block access to the staircases. Walking through the pressure gates act as a hardware gate, because the outer frame is mounted on the wall, while the interior of the frame can be opened with a latch. Most pressure -mounted gates can accommodate 28 (71.12 cm) to 60 inches (1.52 meters). The extension is available to adapt to the holes of larger sizes.
