What are Ziegfeld Follies?

Ziegfeld Follies was a sophisticated show that was known for its rich stage productions, a choir of beautiful women and the diversity of artists. It was created by a man named Florenz Ziegfeld, Jr. Ziegfeld was born in March 1867 in Chicago in IL and was destined for a life in the show.

Folies were women dancing in the line line and wearing costumes, which were considered quite bold at the time.
