What are nut veneers?
walnut veneers are wooden products made of thin leaves of walnut wood. These thin leaves of wood are usually used to cover other, cheaper materials. In some cases, the term "nut veneer" may be used with reference to the synthetic material designed to mimic the appearance of the walnut, but in fact it was not made of walnut.
The wood of the walnut is rich, dark and beautiful. But it is also very unusual and quite expensive. The nuts of nuts are used to cover a small amount of lumber a much larger surface than could be used if solid pieces of wood were used. Materials covered with veneer can then be colored, oiled or scattered.
All veneers are made by trimming very thin leaves of wood from the logo. These leaves, which are only slightly stronger than a stiff piece of cards, are used to cover other products, usually products made of cheaper wood or other fillers. Several pieces of veneer must be placed and harmonized topile of larger surfaces. When it is done, the wooden grain of walnut veneer is usually aligned in such a way as to create the appearance of a single piece of wood. These veneers are always somewhat vulnerable to physical damage due to their very modest thickness.
The most common use for nut veneers are in the construction of furniture and for lining. Larger pieces of furniture, such as cabinets or chests of drawers, can be covered with nut veneers. This gives the gloss of walnut to the whole project, but requires a fraction of wood that would be needed to build furniture completely from walnut boards. Wooden lining is usually used to cover large parts of the room and the use of nuts for these purposes would usually be disproportionately expensive. However, the roller nuts are because they use much less wood are more accessible.
In addition to the natural nut veneer made of real wood are produced synthetic products for reminderHot wood. This synthetics usually contain plywood core or particles. This core is then covered with a thin layer of plastic on which the image of the grain was printed in the real walnut.
The quality of such copied grains is very variable. The best examples resemble real nuts of nuts, at least from a modest distance. Less successful examples of artificial nut are obviously not made of real wood.
