What are Woodwinds?

Woodwind tools are a group of tools that are played by blowing into the mouthpiece and fearing reeds to vibrate and generate a unique sound. Flutes also count in the Woodwind family, even if they do not include reeds because of the way they play. In the orchestra there are "Woodwinds" parts of the orchestra that includes all these tools, and players are often sitting together. Woodwinds can be very easy or very difficult to play, depending on the instrument and most musicians start with the recorder because it is easy to learn. Closed flutes have a mouthpiece that directs air when it is promoted through the lips of the player. The term "Woodwinds" with reference to flutes can be confusing because most flutes do not include wooden elements. However, even closed and closed wood, the sound is made by directing the air against the edge, unlike lip vibrations against the mouthpiece, as is the case with brass tools.

Tools

Reeded have one or two reedOsíi. Reed is traditionally made of wood or cane, although modern reeds are made of pressed plastic. Reed is mounted in the mouthpiece and as the player blows, reed vibrates. The reed vibration generates a sound that can be modulated using the keys on the tools to create different notes and tones.

There is only one reed in one reed tool. Individual Woodwinds include saxophone and clarinet. Double Reed Woodwinds has two reeds and includes oboe, English corner and fagot. Some ethnic Woodwinds have even more reeds, up to four. Some of these wooden cords are made of wood, but most of them include metal elements or are made exclusively from metal.

Although some Woodwinds could be confused with brass tools because they are made exclusively from metal, they have a very different sound. The sound is not directional and is much softer and less aggressive. Most orchestras have a combination of wooden and brass tools to achieve a rich mixture of sound and combining a finer soundEvaled branches with harder tones of brass tools. Many musicians are able to pick up both Woodwinds and brass, because the basic skills needed to play are very similar.
