What is the child's harp?

Baby Harp is an accordal tool that plays twinkling one or more strings with your fingers. It has a similar technique of appearance and playing as other tools in the Harp family. It is one of the smallest types of harp and is generally classified as a folk harp.

The size of the child's harp is usually about 21 inches (53.34 cm), which is qualified as the type of abdominal harp. The small size of the child's harp means that it usually has only about 12 chains. It gives the children's harp a series of about one and a half octave.

Although the child's harp is one of the smallest harp, it is larger than the Harp Lily. Lily Harp has only about 15 inches (38.1 cm) and has only eight chains. Lily Harps are generally "toys" and are not intended for the game. In particular, some manufacturers also consider children's harp to be a harp, so they produce them with relatively low quality, but other manufacturers treat children's harp with the same seriousness as the other harp and take all efforts to ensure that the instrument is long -term and playable with good sound. The child's harp is smaller thanHarp Pixie, which usually has 19 chains.

Due to the small size of the child's harp and the limited number of chains, players are seriously limited in terms of the type of music they can play. Many songs do not cover much more than one octave melodically, but without other chains, children's harp players have difficulty achieving accompanying chords. Adding the bass line is also a challenge. For this reason, many harpists are looking for a little harp for Pixie Harp.

Another problem with child harp is that many of them are not left. This means that the harp must be tuned manually with the tuning lever to play in more than one key. This is often not practical to do during the show and can be frustrating, even if the harpist plays only Fnebo entertainment. On the harp with lever systems, the lever connects to one or more chains. The harpist opens the lever to shorten the string and thus raise the pitch to suit the differentOh the keys.

Despite the disadvantages of children's harp, their small size is good as a "beginner" harp, even if they can play professional harpists. They fit very well with children and let students get used to the basic harp technique. They also buy much cheaper than their larger cousins, so the damage or loss of the tool is not nearly as disastrous. The child's harp is also very easy to transport from place to place, which is good for the harpists who travel.

Like other harp, a child harp may have intestinal, wire or nylon strings. The type of harp chains affects the sound of the harp somewhat, with the wire strings being the brightest. The intestinal chains sound warm, but it does not slip so much.
