What is the rear boiler?
The rear boiler is the type of heating device connected to the rear of the stove or fireplace, which is designed to supplement or replace other heating methods in the house. Back boilers can replace central heating systems or hot water boilers located in home homes. These boilers were created in the sixties and were the most popular during the first twenty years of their work. They are most common in the UK.
It is also called wet stoves or wet heater, the rear boiler was usually hidden behind the chimney or fireplace, but now there are those that are connected to the stove, more common. In general, the rear boiler will have cold water inlet at the bottom and hot water at the top. Water is heated by hot gases as they pass through the smoke located inside the boiler. These boilers were originally designed to use excess heat from the fire to the fireplace, which was released by the chimney.
Originally the boilers were not very effective, but huge improvements were made during the years and now they can sometimes completely nakedAdvice - rather than just add - other heating devices. Their efficiency and reliability can even save homeowners on heating accounts. Homeowners, however, should be aware that if the rear boiler that provides heat for rooms and incorrect function of hot water, the owner of the house will not even have.
There are other hazards from the rear boilers unless it has been unused for a period of time. Older boilers did not have to be completely exhausted than their use was interrupted, so if the boilers are reused, there is a risk that old water creates pressure when heated and eventually causes the boiler to explode. To ensure that this does not happen, old unused boilers should be replaced.
also poor ventilation can cause carbon monoxide poisoning. This problem is impaired by using solid fuel versus gas rear boiler. This problem should eliminate the correct ventilation and replacement of solid fuel boilers.
Although the boilers were back in the twentieth century, some companies, especially in the UK, are advertising pairing boilers/stoves to replace central heating systems. These boilers are usually steel or stainless steel and can be lined with glass. Both integral and clip versions are often available. The integral rear boilers are installed in the factory in the production of the stove. They have higher heat output and are generally more efficient than the clip varieties that are sold as separate attachments to the stoves already installed.
