What is Barcelona® Chairman?

Barcelona® chairman is an elegant seat without a living room that was created in Germany in 1929. Its designers, Ludwig van der Rohe and Lilly Reich, created a piece as a German entrance to the design exhibition. The overall appearance of the Barcelona® chair design is two square, black, sewn pillows on a metal frame with a lower silver color, which forms the shape of X on each side. Two metal X shapes are not only decorative, but are designed to allow the chair frame for comfort.

The modernist style of the piece is timeless. Although Van der Rohe and Reich designed the chairman of Barcelona® in 1929, he won the 1977 Museum Museum Award. Thanks to the industrial industrial look of the piece, it is ideal for today's lofts and other modern interiors. The chair is mainly produced by hand, including cutting and skin tuffing. In 1950 Chromrám E was redesigned in stainless steel. Knoll Furniture Company received rights to produce and sell pieces, but soouts signature van der Rohe to metal each frameBarcelona® chair.

Knoll offers most of the Barcelona® pieces in chrome or stainless steel. The possibility of stainless steel is shinier and in a durable one -piece construction. Knoll's Children's Barcelona® Chair and Foolool Set is available with a chrome base; It is a miniature version of the original design.

The

coordination of Barcelona® furniture is produced and sold by Knoll Company. For example, his lounger has a long, rectangular leather cushion hand applied. Although this cylindrical cushion, which sits at one end of the sun lounger, is not angular and the legs are straight metal columns that are not in the shape of X or compose, the design is still in line with the geometric, clean appearance of the original chairman of Barcelona®. Knoll also offers a barcelona® coffee table with legs similar to sun loungers and a metallic X -shaped frame that is displayed under a piece of smoked glass.

the motif of table x and smokey black square GLASS TOP hits the original elements of the chair in Barcelona and Reg. It is designed to work with chairs and footrest and also with a deck.
