What is a beagle?

Beagle is a small to medium breed dog that once behaved to hunt rabbits. Today, Beagle is one of the most popular breeds of social dogs. Beagle owners are known to say that the expression "dog eyes" was created to describe the soulful sweet brown eyes of the beagle. Beagle colors range from brown, black and white combinations to burnt and white or red and white mark. Although the beagle is a short -haired breed, weekly brushing will maintain the amount of release. Beagles should only bathe every few months, if possible, with a shampoo for dogs, which is made for sensitive skin. Ear odor often signals infection and should be treated with a veterinarian. Beagles are susceptible to eye problems such as glaucoma, cataract, retina dysplasia and microftalmia. Retinal dysplasia includes eye malformation, while microftalmia results in abnormally small eyes. Dog Wobbler syndrome, neurological state that damages the spinal cord in the throat is another health problem associated withBeagles.

Beagles are not considered good housing dogs. Beagle hunting is often appreciated by hunters, so they know the stay of the dog, but the city neighbors usually do not mean. Beagles will often be howling when they are bored or erased by the anxiety of separation when their owners leave. Beagle, a very social animal, is usually not doing too well without a permanent society of people and other dogs.

A secure yard is necessary for beagle. If the beagle relaxes, a long journey from home can wander. Although Beagles are very gentle with a good temperament, they can be stubborn and difficult to train. Beagle considered a great dog for those who have patience and who are mostly at home with beagle.
