What is the blue Angelfish?
Salt water aquariums can be used to place a wide range of unusual and beautiful fish species. One type, blue Angelfish, is a color accessory to the aquarium, with glossy blue and gold marks on the face and fin. Blue Angelfish is relatively large, matures up to 18 inches (about 45 cm) and is slightly easy to take care of them. This species has some unusual habits that make it best maintained only under certain conditions.
When the blue angelfish is young, their bodies are dark, with several vertical bright blue stripes on their sides. As they age, their color turns into gold yellow and bright blue stripes disappear. Mature blue Angelfish has blue accents on its fins, above their eyes and along their gills. These fish have no features or other indicators that would show whether a fish or a woman, and even people who have very experience with these fish, usually cannot distinguish between sexes.
Blue Angelfish should be maintained in a large aquarium, at least 100 gallons (about 378 liters), although a larger tank is preferred. These fish are the inhabitants of the bottom in their natural habitat and remain between the rocks and corals at depths of 6 to 300 feet (about 2 to 92 meters). They come from the western part of the Atlantic Ocean, especially from the coast of Bermuda and Mexico. They usually swim during daylight, looking for food, but they hide at night to sleep. It is important that they have a lot of places where they can hide in the aquarium to feel safe.
Natural food for blue Angelfish consists mainly of mushroom, but they will also eat corals, sea syringes and eyelashes. These fish are best maintained in the aquarium without living corals and mushrooms because they meet, kill or damage them. When creating a blue Angelfish environment, rocks and other inanimate objects are the best choice than a coral. Blue Angelfish are somewhat aggressive, especially for other of its kind and it is best to maintain only one of these fish in the aquarium. Maintaining two or more will most likely lead to injuries andMaybe even death for at least one of the fish.
