What is a Burmese cat?
Burmese is a breed of cat that came from Thailand, once called Siam. There are two types of Burmese breeds: British and Americans. The American Burmese cat has a shorter nose and a larger shape than the British Burmese. The British Burmese face also has a more angry shape. Both types of Burmets have short but luxurious coats that do not throw too much and do not need much care. Other color options include red, cream and turtle. The American Association American Cat Fancier's Association recognizes Sable, Champagne, Platinum and Blue Burmese. The first Burmese cats were Sable and then the blue Burmese cat was developed in England in 1955. The yellow eyes are associated with the Burmese breed, but due to the large number of Siamese genes involved in breed, blue eyes and green eyes are still quite common.
The Burmese cat is a robust breed, but they are not outdoor cats at all, because their natural external instincts are considered limited. The breed is generally very healthy, but one health condition especiallyBurmese is a cherry eye. Cherry Eye occurs when the glands behind the third cap are swelling and cause frequent flashing, tearing, redness and dryness. The condition is usually much more common in dogs than in cats.
The general layout of the Burmese cat is considered very social and energetic. They may require much attention. Some Burmese cats communicate with people loudly and their voices are not as hard to sound as Jowl Siamec cats. The Burmese breed is said to remain quite energy and playful as they age. Burmese cat can be well in households with well -kept children and is known to be loyal to its human companion.
