What is Cape Cobra?
and Cape Cobra (Naja Nivea), also known as Kap-Kobra, is a slim and fast-moving snake commonly occurring in the dry areas of South Africa. An adult cobra can grow up to 5.5 feet (about 2 meters) long and has different colors, including yellow, copper, mahogany, purple and black, with smooth, glossy scales. Cape Cobra is one of the most poisonous snakes found in Africa.
Creation is found in various provinces in South Africa, including western Cape, Eastern Cape, Northern Cape and Free State. In addition to South Africa, Cobra can be found in Lesotho, Namibia and Botswana. Cobra has numerous habitats, including forests, dry shrubs, rocky hills and deserts. Cape Cobras can also be found near the river and well -drained open areas of the soil, as well as unused termit hills or rodent burns. It is not uncommon for the snake to find where people live, including farms and houses when trying to escape the hot sun.
