What is Cefalopod?
Cefalopod is a member of an animal class known as Mollusca or Mollusks. They are a phylum in this class that includes animals with distinctive features such as noticeable heads, some weapons or tentacles for gripping and eating, and the body that can be divided down in the middle and showing symmetry on both sides. Although they are classified as closely related to soft, slugs and snails, they are the most advanced phylum in the Mollusca group. Cefalopods are the largest known invertebrates, which means that they lack the spine and common members of the group include octopus, octopus and sepia. For other Mollusca members, they cause them to look more like vertebrates than their closest relatives. Only one type of cephalopod has an external shell, which is nautilus, and everyone else is animals freely. They are often marked as Inkfish by local fishermen who live in coastal areas that inhabit because they have the ability to exclude the inkjet cloud as distraction and coverage to escape from predatoles.
Kraken is a legendary form of cephalopod and the 18th century ships have described it as a giant octopus of the size of a small island at least a mile and a half across (2.4 km). They swore that he could reach the peak of a mast of the ship with his tentacles. Kraken would allegedly sank the ships by packing his tentacle around one and overturning them. The origin of the legend Kraken is probably found in Scandinavian waters, where local stories claimed that it attracted a large number of fish to its presence and it could have been a boon for local fishermen unless they were disturbed.
Giant octopus is known to be real animals, although their size is not what the legend should believe. However, it is assumed that they will be large enough, that there could be predators of creatures such as sperm whale. That may be why they attacked ships and confused them with whales. In the 1930s of the 20th century there are three documented forThe fearless giant octopus where they probably died when they were pulled into the propellers. The one he was washing on the shore in New Zealand in 1933 measured a length of 66 feet (22 meters) and weighed several tons (several thousand kilograms).
The study of cephalopod species is known as Teuthology and has revealed some surprising facts over the years. It is known that they exist in each ocean regardless of whether it is warm and tropical or freezing polar area. They can live near the surface or down in the depths of water. It is assumed that they were once a dominant form of life in the oceans of the world, and since then there have been even the more primitive fish and before the Earth existed plant life. The intelligence of Octopi is also being investigated because it is now known to play and have prominent personalities, which only make the most advanced of the sea creatures.
